Guardian Investment BD ("GIBD", "we", "us") provides Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) market data, analysis, and newsletter services to investors in Bangladesh. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Account details you provide at registration (name, email address, phone number), authentication data (hashed passwords, session tokens), your watchlists/portfolios/alerts and journal entries you create in the portal, your newsletter delivery preferences and subscription tier, and, if you join our waitlist from a coming-soon page, the email address and the page you signed up from. Signing up for the waitlist does not send you a confirmation email today — we simply record your address so we can contact you when that feature launches.
To operate your account and the features you use (portfolios, watchlists, alerts, journal), to send the newsletter editions and account notifications you have opted into, to notify waitlist signups when the feature they registered interest in becomes available, to maintain the security of your account and our systems, to understand how visitors use this site through analytics (see Your choices below), and to comply with applicable law.
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers who help us operate the portal (e.g. email delivery, website analytics), and only to the extent needed to provide that service, or where required by law.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active, and for a limited period afterward as required for legal, accounting, or security purposes. Waitlist signups are retained until the corresponding feature launches or you ask us to remove your address.
You can update your account details from Account Settings, change your newsletter frequency from Manage Frequency, and unsubscribe from newsletter email entirely using the link included in every newsletter we send. We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand site usage; analytics tracking runs by default, and the cookie notice shown on the site lets you decline it at any time, which stops further analytics events from being sent for your visit.
